Greetings to fans, press and other readers. Today it’s time for the seasonal pre-Oryx press release. Let’s get right to it.
---TEAM NEWS---
Top Form Pharmaceuticals has joined Easy on Health Products by sponsoring our team with a deal worth 100k. The sponsor will stay with us until the half-way mark of next season. We are glad with the financial input, next to the health supplies of Easy On.
We’ve been investing our new funds to complete our support structure, mainly in the form of new staff members. Stevica Kanatlarovski, uncle of Alpinisti na Ohrid’s Kristijan Kanatlarovski and Toni Spaseski have joined our medical staff. Vujadin Beqiri has been a long time fan of the team. He’s the older brother of Gjorgi Beqiri and a capable mechanic. He’s also joined our organisation officially.

---RIDER NEWS---
Let’s start with the bad news. Just like Riste last year, Jordan Spirkoski has sustained an injury a week ahead of the Odyssey of the Oryx. He had just finished some wind tunnel testing to improve his TT ability, and was set to take a shot at the YC, like his older teammate. He’s already doing better, and set to resume training next sunday. Jordan has a lot of racing ahead of him, so we hope to see him compete for youth jerseys in upcoming tours as soon as possible. A positive note in this is that his values ahead of the tour were great, Velosipedska is really happy with Jordan’s improvements after joining our training program.
In other news, Borislav Velovski is set to make his 75th appearance for the team next saturday, the second rider to achieve this feat after Cedomir Ivanov, who currently sits at 79. Velosipedska are excited to see riders nearing the 100th race in our jersey.
---RACE NEWS---
Metodija Aksentiev has returned to the peloton. After a few practice races he’s already back to performing well with a 4th place at Taipei 101 and a podium (2d) at Zakouma Lions Chase. Tomorrow, Aksentiev is set to ride Siófok - Tihany, after that he will continue a program of sprint races, building form towards tours and classics. His exact program will be determined by our division status after Oryx.
Our main target this season is ahead of us, the Odyssey of the Oryx. We regret missing Jordan Spirkoski, but luckily we still have riders capable of getting some results.
Riste Nikolovski will be our captain yet again. He missed out on a solid form after his injury last year, but he’s back in top form to get some solid results in the mountains. We’d like to see him get a top 10 again, but results in the mountain stages are the main target.
Vladimir Gavalovski has proven to be a solid backup sprinter during Aksentiev’s absence, so he will be allowed to see how far he gets in the flat stages. There aren’t many pure sprinting teams competing this year, so Gavalovski should be able to get a few points here and there.
This is our entire line-up for this year’s Oryx and their goals this tour:
Riste Nikolovski - Captain. Aims for stage results and a top 10 spot in GC.
Gjorgi Beqiri - Teammate. Wants to help Riste achieve his goals.
Vladimir Gavalovski - Sprinter. Aims for stage results and supporting Riste.
Eftim Nastevski - Teammate. Hopes to keep captains out of the wind.
Cedomir Ivanov - Teammate. Hopes to repeat his top 9 in the TT.
Slobodan Meglenski - Teammate. Main water bottle carrier and glad to be here.
Kind regards and thanks for reading,
